Proceedings of the workshop on the new Frontex Regulation held on 18th September 2019 in Rome are now available

In cooperation with the Legal Clinic of the University of Roma Tre, the project “Oruka – Beyond the border” organized the self-training event for researchers, experts and legal practitioners “The new Frontex regulation and the agency’s extended powers: possible perspectives for strategic litigation”.

The aim of the workshop was to facilitate a debate on the new Frontex Regulation, which radically redesigns the agency in terms of its legal nature, organisational structure, budget and means, thus making Frontex a key player in the future migration and asylum policies of the European Union.

Highly qualified international experts have shared knowledge, experience and legal opinions, also with a view to possible future strategic litigations before national, European and international courts.
